Patricia Howard is a photographer and educator based in Denver, Colorado where she often focuses her work on the themes of memory, home and family. She works with traditional, historic processes as well as contemporary digital methods. She has been awarded residencies at the Vermont Studio Center, The Photography Master Retreat in France, and at the Irish centers Cow House Studios, Cill Rialaig and the Burren College of Art. She has been a visiting artist at the Torpedo Factory in Alexandria, VA. Her solo show at Photoworks of the Glen Echo Park in Maryland was deemed one of “The Ten Best DC Photography Exhibits and Photographic Images of 2019”, by Louis Jacobson of Washington City Newspaper. In 2025/6, she is pleased to be in the top 200 of Critical Mass, a finalist in Lens Culture’s Art Photography Awards and a participant in Review: Santa Fe.
